38 years and counting

This weekend marks the 38th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

I encourage you to read Al Mohler’s excellent blog post on this subject.

To those who are supportive of abortion on demand, may God “open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in (Jesus).”

Acts 26:18

It is wise that we may always be “vexed in spirit” to a certain degree about
such lawlessness, as righteous Lot was. When such a law as Roe v. Wade is
passed, making what is lawless legal, we know the culture is in trouble. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil. Still, we must realize that God in His Sovereignty, if He really wants to bring a soul into this world, He can’t be thwarted. So, really God has never been “thwarted” with not having a person brought in the world because of abortion, because people decide to go outside of the lines that God says we have dominion or, as Jesus says
along the lines of “I have called you gods,” meaning that God has given us
authority, being made in His image, to judge and discern and thus act
along those lines under His Authority. The killing of our unborn is not for us to decide. If God wants to kill someone, well, He’ll do it, such as the first baby David and Bathsheba had. Hannah’s prayer in 1 Samuel 2 is to be known, and is a part of what Jesus says in John 17:3.
