Just a quick update on this holiday weekend to report that the pathology was (finally) read. We are overjoyed to report that the pathology was a very good report! It revealed that the malignant tumor was fully contained within the eye which was removed. The blastoma had not gone to the optic nerve nor to anywhere beyond a rather safe zone within the eye.
Follow through for Zach therefore includes frequent exams (every 6 to 8 weeks and under anesthesia) to observe the good eye. He will NOT require chemotherapy or radiation.
Next week Monday, July 11th, Zach will have the first of those frequent exams of his good eye. This is a typical protocol for retinoblastoma patients. He will also be sized for his prosthesis at that time which will then be ready in August.
We are so thankful to the Lord for hearing and answering our prayers. You have joined us along the way and we are grateful to you too.
Have a wonderful Independence Day.
Love,
Tim and Sarah

Dear Pastor Tim, Sarah and Little Ones: Praise God Our Father for hearing all our prayers and answering them. What a relief to finally get the results of that blessed report. What courage and strength you have taught the members of Cornerstone, but most of all your faith , your love, your praises in our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Dear Tim and Sarah and Girls:
God is good! He has lead you through all of this journey with Zach to strengthen your faith and beliefs. I am so sorry you had to go through all of this but, I am so very happy about the Pathology report. Thank you Lord Jesus. I hope all is well. I just got back from a visit with all my Daughters from Clarksville, Tennessee. Jamie is living near base while her husband is back in the states from Afganistan. They will be leaving for Germany in the fall for 3 years. I miss all of you and continue my prayers for Zach and all of you. Take care and Happy Fourth of July.
Love Jan Stokes
Wonderful news! All praise to our gracious Lord. The fireworks going off in our neighborhood this evening are to us an expression of the joy we are feeling at this good news. Our prayers remain with you as you walk this journey together.

Dear Pastor Tim & Sarah:
I received this prayer request from a friend in Florida and have been praying. I am in New Jersey. It amazes me how our LORD brought us together for such a time as this. I must confess your witness as you go through this trial has blessed my heart. Your love of our LORD is so tangible even as you wait. So as you take this process step by step, we will join with you in prayer. In the meantime, we celebrate that the cancer has been contained!! No chemo or radiation is so huge!!
Blessings from New Jersey, Deb
